CBS has a graphic going of the time elapsed since Alex Smith threw a touchdown pass to a wide receiver. It just hit 1 year 6 days. Funny stuff.

I know they're playing different games, with different defenses, but this might be the only time I will ever be able to make this point.

Tom Savage has a better QB rating today than Johnny Manziel.

    Tom Savage.

It seems as if Savage might have a better rating than Aaron Rodgers, too.

Odell Beckham Jr. might make All Pro his rookie year, he's that good

Well, there's a first. The 2-minute rules result in a safety for Buffalo because no one else on the Packers can advance the ball.

What a mess for Green Bay but it was well deserved. On Friday, all I heard was the smart money taking the Bills +6.5.

Even as bad as the timing was between Rodgers & the Receivers, if Nelson doesn't drop a potential 94-yard TD pass, Green Bay most likely wins the game.

It was only one game, but that was pathetic. Though it looks like he had plenty of company in playing like crap for the Browns today.

I had never seen that before, either. It did seem that the officials blew the whistle before Lacy picked it up, but they did get it right.

I wouldn't call it quits on Manziel just yet. Got to give him more time. That said, I hope they don't waste his real talent -- scrambling and running and jitterbugging. Build the offense around that and see where it leads you, if you want to keep him. It would be a shame if someone so athletic wasn't utilized to his fullest extent.

I'd love to know what the Browns coaches saw this week to think Johnny Football was going to be an improvement.

Let's not forget how awful Hoyer had been. Something like 1 TD and 8 INTs in last 4 games. I doubt they knew that Manziel was the answer. Just had to see what they had in Manziel since Hoyer clearly WASN'T the answer.

Nice to see a coach in Harbaugh not play chickenshit on 4th down.
