True, but that was just the worst possible fit for him. I'm interested to see what he could do on a team with a coach strong enough to not let him shoot his bonehead jumpers and make him just stay inside.

Just FYI, 12-for-26 is 46 percent. That's not a bad percentage for a guard.

You know by this time, Smith is who he is, he's not going to change. I heard that the Rockets are the front runners; as a GSW fan, I say go for it because Montejunas (sp) is a better defender and shooter. If Smith takes away from that guy, its all the better.

I agree with you and I disagree with you, if that makes sense. Smith isn't going to change. Then again, Smith has changed. He's gotten progressively worse.

I doubt Josh Smith gives a shit, what with the 25 million bucks he's going to be paid the next two years whether he ever puts on another uniform or decides to get bloated.

Things that make zero sense: Lakers (without Kobe) beat the Warriors.

And some of y'all berserkers need to stop hating Vlade. Wake me up when Shaq drains 47-footers.

I guess it was bound to happen, the GSWs laying an egg, every team has a few, but it was very hard to stomach last night. They played careless and listless, losing nearly every hustle play. It was unacceptable. That is the type of game that I have a hard time with; the lack of effort and attention to detail.

Of course, in the big picture, who am I to criticize a 23-4 start?

I'm wondering if it makes perfect sense that the Lakers won without Kobe.

Went to Suns-Wiz Sunday night, my first NBA game in a long time. I was definitely the only PHX fan in my section. Crazy to hear Wittman talk about how much the Suns, who spent much of the game playing three point guards and a combo of Plumlee/Shavlik Randolph/Morri, out-physicaled the Wiz. Suns turn around and beat Dallas at home two days later. Maybe I was at the game where Phoenix turned it around. Fun experience. Plus, we saw Gheorge Muresan wandering around the concourse at halftime. Seemed like a pleasant giant fella.
