Seems like bad policing to only have one cop to a car in big cities.

Seems like as good a place as any to post this ... A Baltimore local news station has apologized for airing a deceptive edit of a protest chant from a rally to protest police violence. The station aired protestors shouting "Kill a cop" when they were actually chanting, "We won't stop. We can't stop 'til killer cops are in cell blocks."

No matter what your opinion is of the recent events, this is the sort of thing that really damages any legitimate debate.

Also, it should probably be noted that this was a FOX affiliate.

    Two men took to fightin'

And Michael punched in through the door

And Michael looked like some old Swiss cheese,

His brain was splattered on the floor

And he's dead, dead Michael Brown

Deadest man in the whole damn town

    His whole life's long gone

    Deader than a roadkill dog

Sing it with retired (and possibly active) LAPD, and happy holiday party everybody!

Could the problem be that the chant was "We can't stop til killa cops...." Proper enunciation would have helped.

Or, you know, not airing a deceptive edit, which the station apologized for doing.

Not only a FOX affiliate but the flagship station for the most right-wing large TV station ownership group in the country, Sinclair Broadcasting.

I'm a cranky, crotchety conservative and I find Sinclair's tactics underhanded, cynical and the worst of our business. They won the worst operations in the industry -- a revolving door of the highest turnover at nearly every station.

I thought this was what people wanted?

Isn't the argument that people like Michale Brown and Eric Garner were being harassed -- for their race even -- and should have just been left alone?

Now, the cops aren't engaging folks like this, and folks are complaining.
