It appears that Carolina's mediocrity is somewhat superior to Atlanta's mediocrity.

Do those two teams even qualify as mediocre?

Anyone watch the 4th qtr of NO-TB? Just wondering if it looked like TB tanked their 20-7 lead to get the first pick?

Lots of discussion in Pittsburgh this week of how important tonight's game really is. Both teams are in the playoffs, but the winner gets a home game against the Ravens and the loser goes to Indy. Does seeing the Ravens barely get by the Browns, who fell apart late in the season, make that look like a bigger deal?

Nobody wants any part of the Ravens in the playoffs.

I just don't like how they finished. Shaky victories over the Jaguars and Browns sandwiched around a loss to the Texans does not impress me, but the return of Hiloti Ngata from suspension should help. All four teams playing next week have been very inconsistent, so I can certainly understand a wide variety of points of view.

Lions might be going into the playoffs without Suh, who stepped on Rodgers' bad leg on essentially a dead ball. Not quite Raiola-like but close enough given his history.

The intent was certainly clear. No way he can claim that was an accident.

There's no way Mike Smith survives this lay down.
Adam Gase/Josh McDaniels being tossed around.

I wonder if they make adult diapers big enough for Ben Roethlisberger.
