It's potentially the difference between getting a shot at being a nfl player or finding something else to do with his life.

Yes, he'd never get a shot if he went undrafted. Because no one would want to bring a 6-5, 250-pound kid with a cannon for an arm into camp for a look.

Guy is it your impression that the 2015 draft is the only time Cardale Jones will have a chance to enter the NFL?

I have no idea, but where he would go now and where he would go after sitting on the bench are 2 questions he should be trying to answer

But what if he doesn't sit on the bench?

Hey, who knows, he might jump -- based on that tweet Dick posted, it's safe to say we don't have another Robert Smith pre-med situation on our hands -- but that's a tough call to make when you've played three games and the only advice will be from the draft board saying "don't go."

Minor point of order: Kobe's draft stock was not great. He almost fell out of the lottery. Absent injury, he'd have been taken much higher even as a one-and-done college player.

    Matt Cassel wonders that, too.

Brady doesn't go down, Matt Cassel spends an entire career college and pro on the bench.

But he did, and he didn't.

And who's to say Cardale Jones never plays another college down? Which is the bigger gamble?

Maurice Clarett never played another college down after winning a ntl championship at Ohio State ;)

Take the money. Declare for the draft. Announce that you are gay if you have to.
