If Kubiak gets the HC job, I would not be surprised at all if he hired Kyle as OC. He was his OC in Houston.

 

Recent report that Shanahan is in play in Baltimore as Kubiak's potential replacement, and it's been reported before that Fox would want him as his OC.

 

Surprised that Kubiak and Elway want to risk their friendship. At some point it's
inevitable that Elway will have to fire Kubiak and that will be the end of
their friendship.

Ultimately, on the earlier question on Brian Billick and not getting a HC job.

He must be SO "my way is the only way" on interviews or with that reputation that it scares owners away.

It makes no sense that Norv Turner, Wade Phillips and, now, John Fox have gotten three shots as head coaches in the NFL while Billick has only gotten one. All three are "yes, sir", "whatever offense you'd like me to run, sir" types.

If Scott Linehan gets a second HC job in this league before Billick, that will tell me Billick must be the biggest prick to deal with.

 

I had always heard that Billick wanted crazy money and control over the roster. That, and he's a prick...
