Dick isn't just a name for some, it's a way of life.

Who was the first president never to have a real job?

“Marriage is between a man and a woman. No group, be they gays, be they NAMBLA, be they people who believe in bestiality, it doesn’t matter what they are. They don't get to change the definition.”

    "I don't believe in evolution."

“They’re willing to die for what they believe, while we are busily giving away every belief and every value for the sake of political correctness."

That's ISIS he's lauding, by the way.

At age 33, Carson became the youngest major division director in Johns Hopkins history, as director of pediatric neurosurgery.

But yeah, I'm sure any buffoon could do something like that.

You're ok with his stance on gay marriage Hokie, his comments on ISIS, that he doesn't believe in evolution? This is someone you would want to be your president?

Pffft. Pediatric neurosurgery. It's not like he operated on full-sized brains.

I said the guy is smart as hell, and I'm pretty sure becoming the director of pediatric neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins at 33 is a demonstration of such.

I also said I think the guy would make an intriguing candidate.

Nowhere did I suggest that I would vote for him for president or that I endorse his various social views.

    Hope that clears it up.

EDIT: JC, for consistency's sake, are you going to ask Dick if he still thinks Ben Carson is a "buffoon"?

Compromise is bad, from the NYTimes editorial board:

I'm sure they'd give a President Romney the same advice.

He's not lauding ISIS, he's pointing out the danger of political correctness in the context of a global threat. He's absolutely right.

Thank God we have ISIS on that wall then.
