BTW, I'm not going to vote for Ben Carson. Frankly, I wish he wouldn't run. If he wants to run for something, he should run for Congress, or the Senate, or Mayor.

    But, he's clearly not dumb.

And, I'm not going to vote for Bill Maher either, but he said this, and people still go to him for his take on politics and events:

As I recall, conservatives were equally forgiving of Maher as they are of Carson.

Hokie, I just looked at two different threads and you're trolling Whitman on both. Please stop. It's annoying.

Again, I wouldn't say it. I don't support Carson for President. I won't vote for him.

I think politically, his ideas are a little simplistic, even if he is smart as hell in general.

I'm just pointing out that his take isn't all that unique, and I'm surprised any liberal would try to use it to disqualify someone.

My biggest problem with him is that he's applying for a CEO position. He doesn't have that kind of experience.

We've seen what happens when we elect someone President who points to his own campaign as the biggest enterprise he has ever run.

He should know -- he won both.

So now pointing out the erroneous, yet persistently condescending nature of Dick's posts is considered trolling?

I thought I was doing a public service.

The key is to mix your condescension with humor.
