Looks like $1.78 is gonna be the low point 45 miles northeast of Richmond, Va. The two stations that have been battling it out are now $1.87 and $1.89. Of course that's 87 octane. May gassing up spot is 12 cents higher for 89 and 45 cents higher for 93

$1.73 in Central Texas. It was a penny higher for several weeks after dropping almost daily.

$1.69 with Kroger points. Without those it would have been $1.89, and that's about as cheap as it has gotten here. as most places are ranging from it to $1.95.

Low point was 1.88 by my house but it has gone progressively to 1.95, 2.07 and now 2.17.

Gas has skyrocketed in the Chicago western suburbs from late January's $1.919 to $2.379. An increase of 24% (46 cents a gallon) in eleven days while crude oil prices have risen by only 10%. Those bastards take every opportunity to increase prices when there is significant snow accumulation.

I hope there is a hot place in hell for oil executives and gougers.

From $1.79 to $1.95 in two days. I filled the tank at $1.89.

Filled up today for $2.11 — 15 cents a gallon more than it was last week, but I'm not concerned this is the start of a steady trend upward. The fundamentals internationally haven't changed; there's still an oversupply. But today's fill-up ended a personal streak of 12 in which I filled up and paid less per gallon than I did the last time.
