I understand the criticism for "The Newsroom" in an intellectual sense. But I have enjoyed it throughout. Then again, I still like "Grey's" and "Scandal," too. (Any hate for "Scandal," that's what I don't get.)

But yes, The Americans was royally screwed.

Anybody watching Season 3? Thoughts?

Thought last year's "Yousef" episode stood out like a sore thumb because it didn't connect to any other episode. Guess it will dominate Season 3. ... Really pulling for Stan (fuck you, Oleg). ... Hope the "Comrade Paige" storyline actually goes somewhere. Everyone thought it would be THE story of the season, and so far it's gotten about 42 seconds of airtime. ... At least Nina can't say she doesn't have a pot to piss in. ...

 

Solid start to the season.

• I still think Paige's little church group is a cover for the KGB's second generation program.
• Zinaida is either a) going to be dead at some point, b) a KGB plant, or c) both.
• Speaking of plants, I'm guessing that's what Nina's new cellmate is.
• I will cringe every time I crack my knuckles after seeing what happened to poor, hot-assed Annelise.
• I had similar thoughts on Yousef last year; glad to see it had a purpose now.
• Does Stan eventually turn Oleg? When will Stan start connecting some dots to Phillip and Elizabeth?
