I think that they would answer the question "honestly," and I think that their answer would be wrong.

How would they answer a question that asked if raising the capital gains tax would help the economy, and/or do anything to help the poor and the middle class?

    No.

But in the tank and not to be taken seriously.

    I don't know, YF. I'm not them.

    Dems are so stupid.

I'm fine with that. I'm really not that partisan.

See ya later, alligators. I've got some work to get cracking on.

    Pandering isn't the issue.

Name me one other serious presidential candidate of either party who would "punt" on a similar question.

Do you really believe that's the same question as "Is evolution real?"

The evolution question is a very simple question with a very simple answer. It doesn't require opinion at all.

So Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, Elizabeth Warren, etc., all reject the science that shows that raising the minimum wage would cost jobs?

How is that possible? How could people so smart not realize this?

And, why do they get a pass for being wrong? It's almost like liberal economic policy is a religion, but we can't question it like we do evolution.

Is the science behind each not just as proven?

How tough an answer is it to admit that raising the minimum wage costs jobs. It just does, right? It's a fact, isn't it? You and I agree on this, don't we?

So, why are people as smart as Obama, Clinton, Warren, etc., unwilling to simply say so?

Why don't they get a "by show of hands" question about these topics at a debate the way Republicans do?

Liberal economic theory is as strongly held a belief as any religion, and parts of it are just as disproven as something like evolution is proven.

But, if only Walker's answers bother you, and Obama's and Clinton's don't, then maybe you are more partisan than you think you are.

That isn't fact. There are a million interpretations on that one single question. Your last line is particularly bullshit.

I'm with Dick. I don't understand why would try so hard to be so dumb about this when we all know a simple question about evolution -- and the ridiculous answers it brings forth -- make you laugh too.

The day the asker of the "do you believe in evolution" question can credibly use evolutionary theory to explain the disappearance of the 0.400 hitter is the day it becomes a "not bullshit" question. Until then, it's nothing more than a secular version of the Church Lady's "Well isn't that special?" schtick.
