You've lost it and are moving into Tony and Baron territory.

I believe candidate Obama said he supported civil unions, which was the default position of many notables at the time, they've since changed their minds and are supporting gay marriage.

Supporting civil unions isn't the same as being against gay marriage.

YF, you won't buy this, but I think there is some genuine frustration that men and women running for president still have to be reluctant to confess that they buy into something that we were all taught in third grade. To tie it your economics questions, I think the ideas might get some more traction among moderates on the left if they weren't coming from people who profess a literal belief in Adam and Eve.

That was the position then. That is obviously is not the default position now.

My best guess is that in the future, if we aren't already there, the push for civil unions will be viewed the same way water fountains for coloreds only are viewed now.

No problem ... we right-leaning mouth-breathers are used to it.

C'mon Doc. If you're not sure it's directed at you, it probably isn't.

I was sure it was directed at me.

Rand Paul cites his two undergraduate degrees from Baylor University.

How many undergraduate degrees does Rand Paul hold from Baylor University? Correct answer is zero.

Rand Paul caught lying about his college record - Salon.com

Curiously enough, he was able to go to Duke for medical school despite not graduating from college. But that wasn't at all because his father was an alum of the school and a sitting U.S. congressman at the time.
