    Official HT/WT measurements are in.

    Winston: 6-3 3/4, 231 lbs.
    Mariota: 6-3 3/4, 222 lbs.

Over/under for 40 times at the combine, via Bovada:

    Winston: 4.82
    Mariota: 5.41
    Eisen: 6.05

Apparently, Rog ran like 5.8 or something in his office yesterday.

If Mariota runs a 5.4, I don't think the Eagles will have to trade up to take him.

If Bovada really has the over/under on Mariota's 40-time as 5.41, I would mortgage the house and take the under.

    Yeah..........
People are going to draft Mariota because they think he can complete mid-60-something% of his passes while also challenging defenses down field. Not because of his 40 time. If he falls because of the combine, it'll be because of what goes on in the interviews (not saying I expect him to be bad in interviews. Just that that, not the 40, will have a hell of a lot more impact).

Ha. Oops. That should be 4.51.

Chip Kelly has already been quoted saying he thinks Mariota is as smart and talented as Manning ever was.

    To which, I say, LOL.

I think Mariota's chances of being successful in the NFL go up exponentially if he winds up in Philly. But the notion that he'll be in the same category as Manning is just absurd.

According to Schefter, Winston showed up for pre-combine training in San Diego weighing 248. Dropped down to 231.

If the Eagles/Kelly really wanted MM this badly, they certainly wouldn't be broadcasting it to anyone willing to listen. "Hey, we'll do anything to get this guy who might fall anyway after the combine and workouts and medicals. Can you guys drive the price up a little bit based on shit we're leaking to friendly reporters? Also, Desean Jackson was in a gang. Thanks."
