Maybe its my Terp Alumness but Bilas hates Maryland. Maybe its the lack of respect the Terps fans showed Krzyzewski over the years or that MAryland considered itself a rival of Duke or that Maryland left the ACC, but he barely could utter a word of praise to the Terps in the 1st half. Terps up by 9, 29-20 with a couple of minutes left in the 1st half and the best Jay could muster is, " As well as Marland is playing they are only up 9".

I am yelling at the TV at the end of the game "Don't storm the court" I liked Seth Greenberg's comment after the game about it.

JFC. It comes as a huge shock to those of us who are aerodynamically/gravitationally challenged, but a lot of top-level D-1 players can do that stuff pretty consistently, if they're wide open.

He was wide open. As a coach in that situation, I'd be pissed if he DIDN'T ram it with authority.

And no, it doesn't come as any shock to me at all that control-freak stick-up-the-ass coaches bench players for doing such things. That's one of the biggest reasons the whole sport is becoming more and more a pain in the ass to watch.

Man alive, Greenberg and Lunardi absolutely hammered on each other afterward, in a good way. They're perfect combatants for each other.

It was one of the funniest exchanges I've seen in a long time.

Ramming it home with authority and what this kid did are time zones apart. I'm all for bringing down a rim, but what this kid did was far riskier.

Make a list of the greatest dunkers of all time...

Jordan, Carter, Nique, Barkley, James, Erving... Did any of them put the ball through their legs when the game was tied? Hell. Did any of them ever do it during a game?

As an LSU fan, I would hope Johnny Jones pulled him aside during a timeout or a film session later on and went all Lou Brown on him -- "Hey Jarell. Nice dunk ... don't ever fuckin' do it again" -- but for the love of God there's nothing wrong with having some fun once in a while.
