The show used to be must-see TV each week for my boss and I. We like a lot of the same TV shows, like T&AHM, Deadliest Catch and so forth. But this season, I can only remember watching it two or three times and just not being that interested. But we watched the finale at the office Thursday and spent most of the hour cringing at some of the stupid stuff they did.

Seeing Jake was probably the best part, and neither of us really cared for them breaking the fourth wall during those scenes.

It was really beyond time and they acknowledged it several times during the hour that it kind of lost me for stretches. But there were some funny parts, and the cameos were great.

Hell, I thought Perry was the bright spot in Studio 60 - which I so wanted to love.

Me too. On both counts. I despise Perry otherwise, but he was pretty good in that.

    Saul is solid.

It's been mediocre for awhile, but Modern Family last night was a home run.

I agree, I thought I would hate the gimmick/Apple infomercial, but it was well done.

Loved the essay at the end ....."mom, I know you're not reading this...." buried in the third sentence.

After last week's episode I couldn't wait for this week's The Slap. Then they go and waste the entire episode on Uma Thurman's useless character.

I was excited about "Battle Creek" since Vince Gilligan created it, but it sounds like he hasn't been attached to the project in over a decade. I'll still give it a look...

Blackish is another show that has really grown on me. Initially, I didn't like the wife and Laurence Fishburne was a bit of a distraction, but the wife doesn't bother me as much as she did and Fishburne has been MIA for awhile.

I haven't gotten to the third episode yet. It's a freaking amazing cast for a network TV show, but some of them either aren't very good in it (Newton) or aren't used much (Thurman). Quinto and Sarsgaard are great.
