Golden opportunity to nudge Cena to the dark side there and they passed.
If he'd have beaten the hell out of tweener Axel instead of just getting a quick win and letting him slip away? Would've been a great, great moment and they didn't even have to push Cena all the way heel. Damn shame.

Innocent enough. You can tell Stewart actually knows his stuff.

Nice pop for AJ from the smarks. Overall pretty good show, love what they're doing to make the IC title matter. Not so much the actual belt but having a Mania laddr match with all the young guys that could steal the show the way the MITB used to it great for the championship. Not sure about including Daniel Bryan because if he doesn't win it kind of craps on it, and he doesn't need the rub from the belt but....in general, as an idea, an IC ladder match is great.

Wondering how long Orton will toe this line before they commit to that match.

If Lesnar is leaving, my dream scenario is:
    1) Reigns beats Lesnar
    2) Rollins comes out for the cash-in, wins with some interference from Orton
    3) Orton RKOs Rollins and we get a three-way feud post-Mania

That would be awesome and opportunistic of Orton, and would fit him perfectly.

Sounds too much like a Monday Night Raw ending to me honestly.
Speaking of RAW, solid show tonight. Loved the Divas segment with AJ and Paige, loved Steph's promo calling Cena out and enjoyed the hell out of the Jon Stewart stuff. Dude cut a great promo.
The moment of the night was Heyman though. Dude is the only reason I am even remotely interested in Lesnar vs. Reigns.
One note though, and I said this on FB, Madusa in the WWE Hall of Fame? Complete slap to the face of every WWE diva/woman competitor in the history of the company. Gross.
I get that she is responsible for one of the defining moments of the Monday Night Wars but come on. She set female wrestling back YEARS with that stunt. Hell, I'm not sure if her actions aren't STILL part of the reason the women are treated horribly by Vince.
Shame on the WWE for letting her in. I guess they forgot the THREE years they didn't have a women's champion because of the fallout from that night on Nitro.

The Daily Show segment was alright. Jon Stewart tried and didn't feel like another celebrity phoning in an appearance. Daniel Bryan vs. Luke Harper could have been great if it wasn't such a throw-away match. Heyman's promo was fucking ruthless. Good shit. Main event was just more Authority flooding but with a really fun chaotic finish. Roman's dive was pretty crazy.

Eh, I think you're giving her way too much credit for McMahon's chauvinism. Like the reason she could go on Nitro and throw the women's championship in the trash was because WWE didn't utilize her for years. Not that WCW was ultimately any better, but still.

Madusa getting inducted is nice. Far better than the idea of trying to induct Mickie James like some of those rumors a few months back.

Of course, "Plan B" as it were, would (or could) be just as good and is far more likely.
    1) Reigns beats Lesnar
2)Rollins comes out for the cash-in
    3) As soon as the bell rings to make it an official match, Orton hits the ring and RKOs Rollins to either cause the DQ or give Reigns the win.

    That leaves:
    • Reigns as a strong champ and with a needed clean slate. Lesnar is out of the picture (assuming he's leaving WWE) and Orton and Rollins are feuding with each other.
    • Orton, who seems to be playing the long game here, gets the ultimate revenge on Rollins and kicks their feud into high gear.
    • The MITB cash-in gets its Wrestlemania moment, while clearing it off the table for the next MITB PPV.

If they're not going to go with Rollins cashing in (and winning) at the end of Mania, I'd like to see them play with the idea of the expiring contract.
Have Rollins hold on to it heading into the next MITB PPV and set up the suspense of him needing to cash it in before the clock runs out but people keep preventing him from doing so.
It gives the concept a much-needed fresh perspective and adds intrigue.
