If you want to tell me you think Arizona or Wisconsin would beat Virginia, you might be right. But Kentucky is the only team with a better resume.

I'd add Duke to that list. They're only one game back with only one head-scratching loss, and their collection of wins outweighs that.

Putting Arizona over UVA makes no sense. Wisconsin has an argument if they win their tournament, but their losses to teams UVA beat take a lot of the steam out of that.

The 4 best teams are Kentucky, Wisconsin, UVA and Duke. Arizona is of that caliber. Gonzaga too.

Its not January any more, folks. UVA is not making it to the second weekend.

Hawaii has a really, really fun team to watch. Press and steal balls all day long. So different from the usual Big West dreck. They play in the Big West final against UC Irvine and their 7-6 center.

That's just silly. Of course they are. They won't play a team anywhere close to the caliber of Duke, Louisville or UNC until the sweet 16. They can beat a 7 or an 8 without Anderson, and they'll be much more dangerous if he can get back in the flow. Another week of rest after the appendectomy should help with that.

If he can't get his game back, sweet 16 is the ceiling. But they're a 2 seed at the very worst. Winning two games isn't that difficult.

The America East final is a barnburner. Just love this small conference games.

ALBANY JUST HIT A THREE TO WIN!

Big Circus, by final weekend, I meant great 8 round. My mistake. Just not impressed. Especially after watching Anderson pull an 0'fer last night. We'll see.

Fair enough. I'll buy that. They do look pretty ordinary without him at full strength, just not "lose to a 7" ordinary.

He's clearly tentative. A week after an appendectomy, that's understandable. The hope is that a week of recovery will help him get over that, and that losing the hand wrap (supposedly in the cards for the NCAAs) will help his shooting and handle.

Personally I think Kentucky and Duke should be #1 locks and I really have no issue between any of Nova, UVA, UW as the last 2. I just hope whoever the odd man out is doesn't wind up in the same region as Kentucky.

Wisconsin will be odd-man-out once they lose to Purdue #BTFU

Duke might be the second best team when it plays it's best game, but ass kickings at the hands of NC State and Miami give it four losses, two of which are pretty bad.

UVA has lost to three ranked teams by a total of 10 points and have several outstanding road wins.
