I'm pretty sure I remember them saying HBK would induct Nash.

Interesting. This is all sorts of mind games now. Originally, we all thought Reigns was a surefire bet to walk out with the gold. Then in recent weeks, the talk of Lesnar re-signing had me thinking he might retain. Now with this, part of me thinks they put this out there as a swerve to get people to think he'll be retaining only to have Reigns win. But then that wouldn't make sense if Lesnar is on a limited dates deal. I don't know what to think.

Lesnar said he will still be working a limited, part-time schedule. With "full-time pay."

I'd love to know how much. And for how long.

Eh, I was rooting for Lesnar to leave, and to either no-show, which would be fun to see the E scramble, or to show up and shoot on Reigns.

On the other hand, this could mean more Heyman, which is great.

At least according to the dirt sheets, he was around $5M a year for his last contract, with the only date requirements being the big four PPVs, and a few Raws to promote them. It was said to be the biggest yearly amount for the WWE, although Cena might make more. (He has a lower yearly rate, but because he's been babyface for so long, he gets a huge cut when it comes to merchandise and house shows.)

As much as I like Lesnar, I hate the idea of an extremely part-time champion who can't cut his own promos.

I'd rather watch Brock than, say, Cena or Orton, but you have a bunch of legit full-time championship contenders waiting in the wings. I'd much rather they make Lesnar an occasional, Undertaker-like special attraction than keep him as champ.

I'd set up the world title picture with Rollins, Wyatt and Rusev as the heels, Reigns and Bryan (and maybe Ziggler) as the faces, and Ambrose as the wild card.

Yeah. I'm curious how they'd handle Lesnar if they have him drop the belt and he's only working part time. I imagine it'd be a little more difficult to keep him in any interesting angles with anyone since he shows up so infrequently.

The way I could see it working would be to have the Money in the Bank winner repeatedly make an issue out of not being able to cash in because the champ is never there.

I think Dean Ambrose would be perfect in that role.
