Anyone else notice a similar theme in this year's college football and basketball seasons in terms of how the post-season disproved the regular season's "best conference" narrative?

In football, we heard all season how unfathomably strong the SEC West supposedly was, until the SEC West got roundly humiliated in the Bowls. In basketball, we heard all season how strong the B12 supposedly was this year, yet now we've seen the B12 thoroughly crash and burn in the tournament.

    Just an observation.

If Mich St is playing in March, why even look at the spread In another game at the same time?

Betting on Izzo in March is free money.

It's the right economic move to go pro, but Okafor is really raw. He looked completely befuddled with the double teams yesterday and his defense is basically to avoid contact and use his height to intimidate the shot.

It was only the 7th or 8th game, but Columbia gave Kentucky one of its stiffest tests.

3 years from now it'll be interesting to see how many of these Wildcats are in the NBA. Cauley-Stein and Towns on the same NBA team would be pretty devastating 3 to 5 years into their careers.

I think Towns, Cauley-Stein, Dakari Johnson, Aaron Harrison, Lyles, Booker and maybe Andrew Harrison, Ulis, Marcus Lee and Alex Poythress will all play in the NBA.

There were a couple of ticky tack fouls on Duke. If the refs wanted to do something, they would have swallowed that whistle and certainly wouldn't have called the walk with 10 seconds left and would have called a foul.

Yeah, the next time he plays defense will be the first. He'll get coached up on that in the league, though.

Give me everyone except Ulis (so widdle) and Poythress (knee might be fucked).
