Kentucky v Duke is Iran v Iraq

Probably not, but UK has allowed itself to be dragged down into single-digit games by teams a lot worse than MSU.

Calipari may think he's proving things to prospective NBA employers by winning 53-49 games in the last minute over teams he should beat by 40, but if he thinks he's going to outwit Izzo in the final minutes, he's gonna live to regret it.

If UK faces Dook in the final, my bet is Calipari won't screw around -- he'll put the hammer down and they'll roll by 15.

Kentucky got its wakeup call. If they were going to lose, it was going to be the first time they were threatened.

They win their two FF games by a combined 25 at least.

That's an excellent point, Starman. I'm sure Calipari is allowing his team to play single-digit games just to showcase that invaluable talent to NBA owners and GMs. You nailed it.

Also consider the fact that he is obviously fixing games. A man can't live on $7 million a year.

He's actually trying to get them to be 8-10 points behind and then come back. But he's not coaching them well enough.

Yeah. I can't believe he didn't allow his team to beat Notre Dame by 20. Hope he's willing to shoulder the blame!

UK shouldn't have had a game closer than 30 points this year. End of story.

Oh: as of today, Calipari's NBA career WL percentage is .391. If he thinks he's gonna get an NBA job off his previous qualifications , he's nuts.

Except that in college, part of the job is getting the players.

Tom Izzo clearly can't get players. Only one championship and seven Final Fours? What the hell is wrong with that guy?

Just wait until Izzo shows his ass in the Final Four!

Karl, Pop and Budenholzer stay. Who wouldn't you fire for Calipari? Thibodeau and Vogel would stay. I don't think Doc Rivers is great but he probbly wouldnt get fired to hire Cal. Kerr's a keeper. Stevens would stay in Boston, but was he a better college coach?

For the rest of the NBA, Cal is cn pick his job. Cleveland, Lakers, Knicks, Nets, Wiz should grab him
