@wwe: BREAKING: AJ Lee (April Mendez) has decided to retire from in-ring competition with WWE. We wish AJ the very best.

It was only a matter of time.

Paging (no pun intended) Charlotte to the white courtesy phone.

    Hell, bring Bayley with her.

She's not a brilliant ring worker but she's the best on the mic the Divas division has had in some time, and was a breath of fresh air for the division for a bit. And she's, well, not too bad on the eyes either. Will miss her, but I'm sure she's making the right decision for herself.

Maybe there will be baby Punk running around in about 8-9 months?

More likely 10 months. No way a Punk baby gets pushed right.

I'll miss AJ a little but as long as they don't use it as an excuse to kill the divas push, which I can't see given the stroke the Bellas have now, it's no big thing. Charlotte, Bailey and Sasha could all fill that void, not to mention more time for some of the ones already on the roster like Naomi and Fox.

Did she go over in her last match? Wearing the Bailey t-shirt? That's kind of cool.

I'll definitely miss AJ, but like Gutter said, it was going to happen sooner or later.

It was pretty good timing though, with how well NXT seems to be developing its female talent.

Her promo that buried Total Divas is about as strong as any promo her husband did.

That one was good, but it still paled in comparison to Punk's promo sitting at the top of the ramp.

Too bad, I really enjoyed watching her. Maybe that last injury, and seeing what happened with her hubby, convinced her to be a little more concerned with her quality of life 20, 30 years from now.

She had a great ability to convey her emotions. Maybe she should try an acting career.
