I think the idea that a perfect game was needed to beat Kentucky was one of Kentucky's best weapons all year. College teams NEVER play perfect games. Kids would make mistakes, think, oh, no, start pressing and doom was nigh. Wisconsin made its errors and kept on plugging. This might be because they were confident their offense could create and make good shots come what may.

Yeah, I guess we could quibble over what is a "perfect" game. Maybe the better word would have been "best" game, and Wisconsin did not play its best game of the season. Yes, it was among the top four, probably, but it was not Bucky's best of the season. Either way, I'm now convinced that this is definitely the best Wisconsin team of my lifetime and it likely will not be topped.

    It's a quality team by anyone's standard.

I share Tony's shock that this ever would have happened there -- I grew up watching the aforementioned Steve Yoder as well as Bill Cofield. But tony, how much of a leap is it really? They have been a consistent top-20 program for more than a decade and now have two straight Final Four appearances.

It's hard for ***any*** school to have a better team than that.

Apparently Harris only said F that N in jest. The last time I used the "but I was only kidding" defense for saying something that got me in trouble I was 9.

Did the Oklahoma frat boys try that defense?

    Might have been disgruntled respect.

Seeing a lot of FB chatter of Sconnies jumping in the car tomorrow morning. 4-5 hour drive. Half that for Chicagoland alums.

Could be a loud anti-Duke crowd, which I'm sure we all want to see.

Andrew Harrison should be comforted by the thought that if the NBA thing doesn't work out, he can always open a pizzeria.
