You're welcome. Now maybe you can explain them to me because I've been reading about them for a few years and still can't figure them out!

Please, please, please skip "The To-Do List." Like the movie itself, Aubrey Plaza is unappealing and unfunny, (and decidedly not hot) as a sheltered teen looking to explore her sexuality after graduating high school.

Saw Jaws on AMC for the umpteenth time last night. Given that it was done in the analog world, the vfx hold up really well. When you put it next to Spielberg's later creature features, there are a lot of common themes. The public panic on the beach wasn't unlike the running/screaming masses of humanity in Jurassic Park II and War of the Worlds. Perhaps a bit formulaic, but he's a master at weaving that stuff in.

I looked it up too. Not sure I learned anything because I didn't understand it.

Just near the end now of Sinatra: All or Nothing At All, Part 2 on HBO.

I didn't see Part 1 but will seek it out. I've been glued to the screen for nearly two hours right now. The Vegas years with the Rat Pack, the Kennedy years. The kidnapping of Frank Jr. The marriage to Mia Farrow -- her 21, him 51. All completely fascinating. And even more so as he got older and how he really did some embarrassing things to try to remain "hip" and "current." He did an appearance with The Fifth Dimension in 1968 wearing some embarrassing '60s get-up that looked like a reject from the Austin Powers wardrobe room. Then the retirement in 1971 and the amazing comeback in 1974.

About the only negative in the 130 minutes was having nutcase Harry Belafonte as part of the commentary.

When did this movie come out? Isn't she in her 30s? She was playing a HS grad?

    Watched Kingsman Monday.
It's always good when a movie that wants to be fun doesn't take itself seriously and achieves its entertainment goal. It's a spy movie that spoofs other spy films while standing on its own as a solid and entertaining film. Thanks, Obama.

Woman in Gold yesterday. Pretty decent flick. Intriguing story. I now want to see that painting.

    A big +1, Tony.

Like yourself, I haven't seen Part 1, either, but 2 is very good television. Was hoping for a Manchurian Candidate reference and got it just about where I suspected it would be. Intriguing to learn about his divorce from Farrow and how it was connected to the casting/filming of The Detective.

I don't think I've seen anything I've liked her in other than Parks and Rec. Just about the rest of that cast is taking over the world, but I don't see her doing very well unless she just plays variations of the same character from that show.
