Ridley and RG3 in the same backfield? They're going to start drafting linemen based on their ability to fall on fumbles.

Does Ridley have a storied history with consistent fumbling, or was it just that one stretch a couple seasons ago?

So, on average Ridley fumbles once every 81 carries (didn't look at receptions and fumbles for these numbers).
That's below average, but some people do worse.

A look at a couple other backs:
Charles - 1 fumble per every 65 carries
    Peterson- 1:76
    Murray - 1:116
    McCoy - 1:122
    Forte: 1:151

It isn't so much that Ridley fumbles often. He had an unhappy knack at fumbling at the worst possible moments, which is why Belichick buried him on the bench.

Well, his best years were with Philbin as his OC.

Ridley's signing with the Jets. I guess they figure if they can't beat the Patriots, they might as well sign their players.

Bell is appealing. The Steelers expected it to be two games, but apparently the new NFL policy calls for an automatic two-game suspension for DUI and the other game, plus a fourth game check as a fine, is for possession. It would have been only one or two games if the plea deal had been done by Nov. 1, but it took too long. Apparently, that is the basis of the appeal. Under the old policy, the DUI did not draw a suspension for a first-time offender.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the NFL compromise and knock it down to two games.

There is a lot I like in the new policy, at least that it is tougher on DUI, but the implementation has been a little shaky.

While watching SportsCenter last night, I paused the DVR and came back and the only thing I could see on the crawl was "Manziel released"

I wonder how far off he is from that being a reality.
