I'm surprised there isn't a kickstarter fund for her to send her on vacation.

I highly doubt anyone will write a glowing review after walking to the parking lot only to discover their car is towed. That's like expecting a good review of process servers or a debt collection agency.

Single moms aren't always victims. In fact, some of them are just as much meanypants jerkyfaces as the big bad ESPN teevee "personalities."

And, I'm sure all the footage of "Gina" was innocently lost, probably in the same place as the footage of the Tulsa sheriffs trying to revive Eric Harris after shooting him.

Why is clerk at a towing company "a difficult job"?

I keep hearing about "What if the clerk started it, and was baiting her?" because the footage was edited. But I just don't see the clerk gaining much by doing that as she deals with 25 or so irate people a day. Either way, because McHenry is the public figure (as she loves to tell people), and far more "educated," according to her, she needs to hold herself to a higher standard. Period. Or things like this will happen.

I don't believe she should be fired, but she needs to do much better than that weak Twitter apology. I mean reading a statement, tears, the whole nine yards. Show some actual contrition. And above all, she needs to learn from this. She needs to learn that she is no better than anyone else. (I doubt that last part will ever happen).

Because they don't let you fill out your March Madness bracket when you're on the clock.

Because they have to deal with assholes like this bitch all day.

Predatory towing is an asshole industry, though.
$35 to get your car back? $50? OK, lesson learned.
    But $100, $150 a day? Or $200-$300? That's vicious.

And no hiding behind your $9/hour clerk, either.
Your business thrives on ripping off everyone you can.

Because you don't get paid to cover games.

I haven't been towed, so I don't know much about the industry. Do they tow on behalf of the city? Or local businesses with no parking signs, etc.?

In my area, the towing companies and the cities split the money, though I'm not sure of the percentages.
It's a huge racket, complete with warring towing companies and allegations of rampant graft.

Word is that's in the works - there was mention of it in one of the comments on one of the Post stories.
