ESPN's Britt McHenry is Not Nice....

    I posted this on a friend's Facebook page where the discussion was about suspension/dismissal, etc.
    I understand her anger. If she said said, "Your business sucks. You people are leeches. How do you sleep working for these jackasses," or something like that, I get it.
    She went personal, harshly personal, over-the-top personal. That last little "lose some weight baby girl" made me insanely angry.

    Again, barely know her and my dealings with her were fine. I saw a young woman who worked hard and truly wanted to be good, like many young men and women in this business. That was before she went big-time.

    Curious to see if that fund-raising thing for Gina gets off the ground.

    Good lord, I hope not. Donating money to a grown woman because a pretty blonde was mean to her is asinine.

    I see both sides pern. Yes, it is but it is also a show of support. We got you, she can't talk to you that way kind of thing?

    I'm trying to raise money for an AIDS walk (and yes, I will wear the ribbon Seinfeld fans), so I won't be donating. But I get it.

    Ugh. Guess I just totally disagree. I'd like to think this grown woman is not so weak that she needs "support" from people she never met because a woman who was pissed her car got towed was mean to her.

    This whole story is just annoying.

    Maybe the American Red Cross can get involved and help other people who have had to deal with Britt McHenry's meanness. Maybe, if they do enough fundraising, they can help other cashiers who have had to deal with shitty customers.
