After 40 minutes, I flipped to ESPN again. Third time on the channel in roughly three hours.

    Tebow again.

It's a slow news day and people are fascinated by the guy.

I think it's hilarious that he works for ESPN and Glazer had the scoop.

Agreed. Maybe as a 2 point specialist QB.

PK and a few other places have that Steelers at Patriots is likely to be the Thursday night season opener.

But twice in the last five years the one that was leaked wound up being wrong. This would seem like the logical choice though since they don't usually do a divisional matchup in the opener.

Doesn't change the fact that the Eagles' QB situation is a horror show, but that's wrong. Barkley played in three games in 2013 (went 30-for-49, no TDs, 4 interceptions) and one last season (threw one pass).

It says last TD pass thrown, not last game.

Apparently my reading skills are as bad as the Eagles' quarterback situation.

You know their QB situation is bad when people can somewhat imagine Tebow becoming the starter.

"Well, Sam Bradford will tear something by Week 3, then Sanchez will eventually shit the bed and then it's Tebow Time!"

  10. Schedules are out.
Obviously fluid, but .. Steelers with toughest strength of schedule entering the season. Open at New England.
Brutal stretch to close out the season with away games at Seattle, at Baltimore, at Cincy and at Cleveland.

    29 – at Seattle, 4:25 p.m., CBS

    December

    6 – Indianapolis, 8:30 p.m., NBC

    13 – at Cincinnati, 1 p.m., CBS

    20 – Denver, 4:25 p.m., CBS

    27 – at Baltimore, 8:30 p.m., NBC

    January

    3 – at Cleveland, 1 p.m., CBS

Oh, and 5 prime time games.
