On the morning of Aug. 10 last year, the A's were 72-44. Since, they're 24-43.
Since their first road trip after trading Cespedes, they've gone from playing .620 ball to losing almost 65 percent of their games.

Josh Hamilton spotted at the Globe today, per Jeff Wilson of the FWST. Hope he didn't snort the first base line.

I grew up following the Cardinals, but broke good later in life. My hatred of them begins and ends with Garry Templeton. With 2011 as a brief interlude.

Tell you what, a great #30for30 would be pitchers who gave up the harshest playoff walk-offs.

    Niedenfuer ... Moore ... Wakefield ... Williams ... Branca ... who else?

Wasn't it Ralph Terry who gave up Mazeroski's?
