To be completely honest, I'm surprised he survived this long. To be in his 80's and battling Alzheimer and dementia, I can't imagine the life expectancy being too long. It's kind of sad that his newsworthy event was the incident several years back where he killed another patient due to his poor mental state.

Not that I think they would, but now would be a really good time for the WWE to finally throw up some AWA up on the WWE Network.

2006. Went in the same year as Okerlund.

Yep. His son accepted on his behalf, IIRC.

Last night featured the feud we were all waiting for, guys - Adam Rose vs. Fandango. Dancer vs. dancer! It's the type of program you're going to be telling your kids about.

Snide comment aside, Ziggler vs. Ambrose could be an awesome program for the both of them. Not so lucky - Bray Wyatt, who drew the Ryback straw, apparently. Why not Bray vs. Randy?

I watched it on the network. Really nice special. Well produced. Good promos in it. Sheamus/Neville and the final were good stuff.

Kind of mixed on the idea of King Barrett. I don't like it because I don't think it will change how weak he's been booked lately and that there's no point of another push with this guy. But I love it because his promos have been terrific lately and he has been bringing some good quality in the ring. And this will make his character even more fun.

That was a live event? Wasn't it just two or three matches?

That was a great read. Loved the Scott Norton stories, including the phone incident, talking to Flair about how they were drawing so many people only to be told by the driver that they were being forced to go and Flair's reaction when Norton was gushing over the Inoki match.

In other news, Smashing Pumpkins lead singer Billy Corgan has apparently joined TNA's creative team.

And, numbnuts Jeff Hardy broke his dumb leg dirtbiking:

Sad to hear Jeff is hurt, people are saying the holders of the tag titles are cursed. First Eddie Edwards now Jeff Hardy, I'm surprised Jeff hasn't really been injured in his career. He should be lucky that he can walk after all the crazy bumps he's taken over the years.

Jeff Hardy's got an emergency supply of Percocet stored up in his gall bladder. He feels no pain.
