I know that I always try to tear steak whateverdillas down the middle and do it just like this, no mess, no fuss, no muss.

"Unbox it only at Taco Bell."

"Way to write in the active voice, Johnny!"

I've discovered some really great artists by finding out the group or singer doing the songs over the closing credits. Since I don't listen to radio for music any more, most of the new and current stuff I've bought over the last five years is music where I really liked a song from a movie, sought out the artist and then bought one of two of the CDs.

Example: Neil Halstead. Heard his song Digging Shelters in the movie Enough Said. Bought the CD it was on (Palindrome Hunches) and it's one of my favorites.

Other music I've bought because of movies:
    (Artist, song, movie)
The Middle East Blood Crazy, Stupid, Love
Andrew Bird Tenuousness Crazy, Stupid, Love
Talia Paul All the Water Two Ninas
Schuyler Fisk and Joshua Radin Paperweight Dear John

Also, back in the 1980s and 90s I found some of my favorite songs ever via movie credits

The Shape of My Heart Sting The Professional
Nat King Cole There Will Never Be Another You The World According to Garp
Nat King Cole Nature Boy Untamed Heart
Oingo Boingo Goodbye, Goodbye Fast Times At Ridgemont High
Stewart's Coat Rickie Lee Jones When a Man Loves a Woman
Running From Mercy Rickie Lee Jones When a Man Loves a Woman

Also, a few Sting songs from the Leaving Las Vegas soundtrack are excellent. Movies are where all the good new music is nowadays since radio is a wasteland of either rap, hip-hop, country, oldies or Disney pop.

I woke up, drank my coffee, picked up my kid from daycare, went to a mid-day baseball game, sat in the shade on a humidish 80-degree day, swigged a lemonade and downed a dog. Now I am home with a slight tinge of sweat and I am SOOOO gross. No shower and I didn't brush my teeth since last night? I am a pig sty.

The bridge mix that I bought in the bulk section of the hippie health food store has an overabundance of chocolate-covered raisins.

I can't argue with watching the credits for music. Every so often if I'll do the same thing.

No opinion on the commercial, but has anyone had the new Taco Bell Diablo sauce?
    Holy mother of God.
Much like how Taco Bell exits the body, you don't notice anything right away and then a few moments later you're regretting some life choices.

Makes you wonder what someone put in that drain before you had the room. [subfirstworldproblems]

Well, I guess if you eat too many of them, you wind up shitting chocolate-covered raisins.

I use sesame seeds and corn kernels to track how fast my digestive tract is working. Anyone know of any other good "tracers"?
