Vodka is mock-worthy.

 

That's why I said that only gin martini drinkers were allowed to mock the vodka martini drinker.

Everyone is entitled to mock the Appletini drinker -- especially if said drinker is a dude.

 

I don't know about martinis, but fresh-squeezed lime juice is essential to a good margarita. And it doesn't matter whether it's store-bough simple syrup or the stove-made variety.

 

On the list of mock-worthy drinks I alone have consumed, it doesn't even make the top 20.

Examples:

Banana-flavored beer.
Cucumber-flavored beer.
Lime-A-Ritas.
Strawberitas.
Melonballs.
Mike's Hard Somesuch.
Vodka-cranberries.
Non-100-proof Southern Comfort.
Goldschlager.
Dirty Girl Scouts.

 

Vodka is mock-worthy for a completely different reason than those: It doesn't taste like anything.

 

Cucumber-flavored beer? The fuck?
