There were two storylines that were brought up in the finale that were barely mentioned all season or since last season, the Danny as the father with his ex-wife storyline and Catherine's deal.

I really like the show, but that finale was really strange.

Completely agree. Despite getting really good ratings, it was considered an underdog to be picked up. I'm assuming that was partially due to them having to negotiate new contracts for most of the regulars and that the show is pretty expensive to produce.

I think Dog with a Blog uses a knockoff of Californication's whistling segues.

Maybe they'll also start playing more Zevon.

So long as Runkle isn't giving blogger dog red rockets.

I appreciate that. I've missed some episodes here and there, with those two episodes being among the ones I've missed.

Yeah, there was an episode maybe a month before the finale where Danny and McGarrett have a discussion about McGarrett needing to move on from Catherine. It definitely was not a focal point of the season though.

  9. Starting Torchwood. Not a huge Capt. Jack fan, but thought I'd give it a try. I was told it takes three episodes to find its footing.

I keep starting Torchwood, lose interest, then try to go back. It's taken me two years to get three episodes into season two. It's ok, but it's not enough that I want to keep watching/binging like other stuff.

Oh, and thoughts on Aquarius? I'm a few in via Hulu. I like Duchovny, but Mason seems to walk the line on caricature.

Can't remember if I asked already, but is anyone watch Scrotal Recall on Netflix? Not the greatest show, but also not the worst. I think we've watched the first 4-5 episodes so far. The main character guy reminds me of the lead on You're The Worst.

This show is right up your alley, RJ.
