    Aaaand, again.

“Ray McDonald arrested in Santa Clara for violating a restraining order” from Santa Clara Police Department : Nixle

The restraining order Ray McDonald violated was issued as a result of his earlier domestic violence and child endangerment arrest which occurred in Santa Clara on May 25, 2015.

Some men you just can't reach. So you get what we had here last week, which is the way he wants it. Well, he gets it.

From September -- Jed York: 'Ray McDonald is not Ray Rice' | CSN Bay Area

He's right, too. Rice was willing to stop before he killed her.

The 49ers are getting off way too easy on this. As things unfolded last fall, they didn't just go with due process. They ran their own investigation to conclude Ray did nothing wrong. They actively took his side and believed everything he said and disbelieved everything the woman said.

True. Too many people have said, "Well, the Niners saw he was a problem and then released him." which only happened way, way, way after the fact. They looked the other way until it was convenient to cut him. The Niners got a bit lucky because the McDonald case wasn't as prominent as Rice or Hardy. They deserve no credit for anything. They handled it very badly.

Cam Newton signs a 5-year extension worth $103 million. Apparently $60M of it is guaranteed, but we'll see if that's actually the case when the contract is officially filed. But he will get $31 million of it this year, so he has a better agent than Kaepernick.
