agree on The Latest ... what's the point? Almost had to use Silver's state of the game address as a sidebar ... I'm sure when I go in tonight, though, that I'll see all the great stuff that went out at 1 am

 

I used the dumbass story on Silver addressing the corruption in international play to fill my roundup out. What a waste.

 

I figure it's pandering to web-based outlets.

 

Well, I guess we know how interested AP is in the Women's World Cup. Seven photos in total (all imported from Canadian Press), including exactly zero of the player who scored twice and was clearly the best person on the field.

Also, everyone and their half-brother knows the Red Wings are hiring their AHL coach, there's a press conference scheduled for today and my state sports wire folder is completely empty. Not even a 'sources' story. Would be helpful to have like, something, seeing as the Tigers have two off days this week (not even a draft brief).
