I just watched the first show.

    It's very well-written.

My problem with it is the whole concept behind the show. Going back that many years for something like that seems way excessive, but I'll keep watching. It's definitely different from everything else that's out there.

Just started watching USA's Graceland again. I watched every episode the first season, but got behind in Season 2 and never got caught up. Both are on Netflix, and Season 3 starts June 25.

    Anyone else watching this show?

I'll still watch, at least the first few episodes to see what it's like. I mean, it's 24. It'll be different without Jack, obviously, but from what I've read, he's not going to be completely out of the show.

    Anyone watching Complications on USA?

Watched the pilot and the second episode that ran immediately after. Seems just a little outlandish, but I'll stick with it through the first season. Kind of reminds me of the short-lived Hostages that ran on CBS in 2013. A doctor put under the thumb of criminal enterprises. But this one would seem to be a lot easier to get out of with a simple report to the police.

Anyone watched the premiers of Ballers or On The Brink on HBO? Both have some pretty good potential.

Not interested in either. Ballers looks like a mix of Playmakers and Entourage. Blech. I've heard The Brink is brutally bad. Just don't have enough time in the summer to dedicate to bad TV.

Season 2 of Halt and Catch Fire on AMC has been really good, FWIW. I had read that they took all of the season 1 criticism to heart and sort of rebooted the whole thing, and it's worked out well.

    Curious:

If you saw a TV show tag line that reads:

    15 minutes...to life.

What do you think the show is about?

I'd appreciate an honest answer from the TV fans around here.

"Wrong place, wrong time" crime show. A patsy just thinks he's going over to someone's place for 15 minutes, only to be framed for a crime he didn't commit. Now, he might be going from 15 minutes... to life. Starring Joshua Jackson.

I'd assume the 15 minutes would be an allusion to the McLughan-Warhol notion of 15 minutes of fame.
The tagline's not clear, but I'd guess a reality star facing a murder charge.

Tagline has to work in conjunction with a title and imagery, though.
