Hey, if you read the Bible as a free trade tract that shits on the wage-earners, so be it.

Only the Right Reverend Alma would read Jesus's teachings as telling you to not pay these guys $5 an hour over there (because over there's in another country) so you can pay these guys over here $15 an hour.

If you see some decisions that devastate long-standing American communities as OK because some foreign workers get to work in factories and live in dorms away from their children, again, so be it.

You're much too smart to be naive about the reality of some offshore factories around the world - the oppression that goes on there, the fragmentation of family - so I'll just presume you're simplifying these scenarios for the sake of some other reason I can't discern. Which is fine.

It's easy for Americans to dismiss that shit because they don't see it. They see the shirt and see it's $34.99 at Macy's. That's all they care about.

You are perfectly allowed to follow your own beliefs, just like others are allowed to follow their own beliefs. You are not allowed to impose your beliefs on others, nor are you allowed to legally discriminate or violate others' rights on the basis of your beliefs.

    It's not that hard.

Don't worry, conservatives, most of you are still perfectly able on Monday to fire anyone who got gay-married this weekend simply for getting gay-married.

I'd suspect for a lot of us, we either have a family member or a friend who is gay who we'd like to see enjoy the same rights and happiness that we are able to have.

Hey, it's not me who matters. Per you, that's what the big man -- the head honcho, the connection -- doesn't want. I can't wait to read through your next encyclical. The scripture you'll draw on in making the case that, when it comes to business, it's sinful to look beyond your political borders ... well, let's just say I am waiting for it with bated breath.

I love when you try to browbeat with vocabulary words when you are losing an argument.

It's your tell when you don't have shit in your pocket.
