    LOL ... sure, that's it.

Just a hint: There's an encyclical that's been rather "in the news" of late. You might try looking it up.

The other day a couple of my students complained about words I'd used on an exam. These were students for whom English is their primary -- likely only -- language.

The words? "Prominent" and "obsolescence" ...

No, this was a junior-level undergrad class in business. One question asked "Which of these factors plays an especially prominent role in the relationship between blah blah and blah blah?" The other asked, "To which of these risks is the blah blah approach especially vulnerable?," and one of the choices was obsolescence.

"People of principle" who hold themselves above the Constitution and laws of the land they are supposed to enforce/follow?

And which rights has the president withheld from the people of the state of Alabama? Please be specific.

Who the fuck is doing any of this?

Thank you. It's called freedom and democracy. And it amuses me that many of the same people who want to hold onto the Confederate flag are decrying this decision to let people live how they choose. The majority of people support gay marriage and prefer that the Confederate flag not be flown in an official capacity. Pretty simple really.

Holy shit, THIS might be the most ridiculous things I've read on here.

Have there been any drone strikes in Alabama?

Anyway, you know that modern-day politics is about nothing more than manipulating the system to enact the laws each side wants to follow.

I don't have any issue with the SCOTUS decision, but this happens daily in politics.
