Well, if it helps you all to know it, I'm not a right-wing Republican. Hell, I'm not even a Republican. I've also tried to explain, and think I've done so rather well, that an opposing view of this might not come entirely from religiosity.

And honestly, you all have exhibited much stronger "hate" of those opposing this ruling than the couple of us have. Just saying.

No one has been killed for speaking out against this ruling.

So anyone who may disagree with gay marriage is the equivalent of a murderer? You make no distinction? Everyone who disagrees with you on a given issue is a bad person, right?

In re: Obamacare and same sex marriage, the right is apoplectic that SCOTUS is legislating from the bench. A year ago, when the Court did the same thing in gutting the Voting Rights Act, the right was giddy. Would love to hear an explanation on why it's OK some of the time but not all.

Want to know the make-up of a true liberal? Look at how upset they get with people who AGREE with them on an issue but aren't willing to hate in lockstep.

If you're lumped in with people who bullied, margianalized, ostracized, and killed people for being gay but you never did anything, than you don't have anything to be worried about, do you?

    Good question.

    That's not an answer.

Same answer that's given when people are told to show their papers or get questioned by police. If you've got nothing to hide, why sweat it?

I 'll assume your answer is yes. On a related note, thinking that someone who disagrees with you is a bad person doesn't make you a good one.

Considering that it took over 200 years for the winning side to celebrate their ultimate victory, a little "take that" is to be expected.

After all, look at Red Sox fans.
