Just to clarify, you basically said this "opposing view" is inspired by you being grossed out by gay people kissing. Not exactly a viable legal stance.

    Nope, doesn't work that way.
You can't ignore Supreme Court rulings because you don't like them.

Asking this in all seriousness, but what are the checks and balances on a Supreme Court decision, other than a Constitutional amendment?
The checks and balances between the legislative and executive branches, and the judiciary's checks on them, are pretty well-established. The checks on the courts, though, once they get on the bench seem a bit murkier and I can't recall what they are from my school days.
Is there a relatively easy and sane way to curb a judiciary branch that gets too powerful?

Supreme Court justices can be impeached, just like presidents.

What I think is great about this ruling is seeing friends and relatives celebrating who hadn't even come out to their parents.

Obviously, not everyone who rainbows their profile picture is gay, but if you post from a gay bar or show a photo of you and 3 other guys celebrating, that seems a stronger clue.

It's not every day the Supremes can make a ruling that makes millions of people feel better about celebrating who they are. Kudos!
