Oh, please. We're 16 months out. Trump's "support" is based on name recognition and his ability to generate headlines during election run-up downtime. I'll bet you dq's hat he doesn't win a single meaningful primary, if he even gets that far.

I just want him to stick around long enough to participate in a debate or three. Everyone wins.

This would have made more sense if a cat walked across your keyboard.

Prediction markets rate his chance at the nomination at 4%. Twice as likely as Chris Christie ... a fourth as likely as Scott Walker.

I'm sorry. Would you like me to simplify it for you?

I'll explain it to you because I'm feeling kind. YankeeFan ran away from my point because he knows I'm right. DQ is trying to bail him out. Look at how DQ worded his post. He's angling to slant the discussion before it starts.

Speaking of Christie, this cracked me up:

I just called him a leading Republican candidate. Which he is -- at the moment. I agree that DQ's hat would probably make a better president.

It didn't happen this time, but you are welcome to continue writing fiction if it makes you feel better.

Also, for the record, I edited my post to take a less confrontational tone. Sunshine quoted the old version while I was editing.

If you don't know, that is a problem. :)
