With gay marriage decided, what will be the next big left-led social change?

Well, all of those posts sound very complimentary of the critical thinking skills and work ethics of poor black people. Much more so than the meanypants unions that keep them out.

LOL

Dems think blacks aren't smart enough to learn plumbing, carpentry, or electrical, but we're racist? OK. Great.

BTE isn't wrong. Dems offer poor blacks scraps. Handouts, and minimum wage. Republicans offer opportunity.

When you're been systematically kept poor by the ruling political class, it's hard to believe in opportunity. They've been purposely locked out of good paying union jobs. So, a bird in hand might look better than two in the bush.

And you stuck it to the hard blues here.

And you didn't have to use your AK.

Pandering and demonizing don't help anyone, but they sure do help win and keep power.

Dude, Condi Rice is a member of Augusta, the Dukes of Hazard are off of TV Land, the flag is coming down, and we've expanded access to the bike share program.

That's progress!

The poor Negros just need to be patient. Economic progress in next. They're working on policies and partnerships right now.

So, can we admit that building trade unions were racist? Will you say that?

Will you admit that it was a problem?

Now, if we can agree that it was a problem, going back decades, would you please tell me when the problem was fixed, what was done to fix it, and what the resulting change was?

I am not going to admit anything without looking deeper into the subject. I'm simply pointing out that you were asked to provide proof that there is currently an issue and your response is to link articles that are far too old to be relevant to the current situation. That leads me to believe you can't find anything to back up your claim regarding the current situation, which is what really matters.

You keep deflecting to the past rather than dealing with the present, which at best makes your points irrelevant. At worst, intentionally misleading.

They've been purposely locked out of MOST jobs, period. Neither "side" has a monopoly on racism.

But some people on both "sides" do realize the playing field isn't level and try to do something about it.

Some people on both sides have also passed more than a dozen national laws to level the playing field, ostensibly worrying about the institutionalized discrimination present on every street corner and in every boardroom in America. Some other people worry only about the people within a small subset of union membership within an even smaller subset of the national workforce who have been racist jerkyfaces.

Let me know how your research goes.

Meanwhile, I'm on job sites every week. Have yet to deal with an African-American electrician, plumber, or carpenter yet.

But, hey, I've only been doing this for nine years or so, so maybe my sample size is too low for you.

Or, maybe Devil's right. Maybe negros are just too dumb, and not interested in these good paying jobs.

Show me where I said that.

You should be banned for calling someone a racist.

Consider yourself reported.
