And, take a look at their website. Let me know if there's any information on how to become a member of their union:

Charles Cannon sounds like a cornerback for the Chiefs.

But you would expect a homogenous group if father bequeaths membership to son, as you have just stated. Scratching the backs of family members doesn't sound very racist. Sounds like anyone who isn't a family member/close friend of a union member gets screwed. Equal opportunity screwing isn't racist.

    Or, at least an impact.

(I used it as a noun!)

To keep handing down membership to your kids, you've got to keep someone else out.

    And they did.

    Systematically.

    And, prevented non-union competition.

As I showed, even in good times, unions kept membership numbers low. Can't let those Negros get on the seniority list.

Yes, again, that's equal opportunity screwing. Despite my name, I look very Caucasian. If I moved from CA to NY and went looking for a trade union job—assuming I had trade skills and not piss-ant skills that keep me employed as a journo—would I be able to get in the union? Under what you have said, the answer is no. Again, that's not racism. That's nepotism. A different kind of problem, to be sure, but not the one you seem hell bent to hang the Dems with.

Meh ... Try that "We didn't mean to have a disparate impact!" defense sometime and see how it works out for you.

I imagine it will work as well as "Yeah, but they do it too," will.
