Nothing wrong with layered discussions about societal wraths regardless of how pissy the front row of teacher's favorites might get.

Discussion is good, even if it spills over and tangentializes.

I always love it how the anti-abortionists bring up Sanger's racial prejudices as an excuse to get rid of legalized abortion. You know what? She was racist. To use your term, so what?

George Washington and Thomas Jefferson once owned slaves. Under your logic, and yes, this is your logic, the United States should repeal the Declaration of Independence and rejoin whatever remains of the British Empire.

Yeah, until Sanger's views were broadly understood, most pro-lifers thought abortion was just fine and dandy.

The regulations were put in place during the Depression because of concern over the mechanical quality of the cabs and to prevent anyone from calling their broken-down jalopy a cab.

Then why bother bringing up her antiquated racist views, then?

Because it's fun to make liberal pro-choicers squirm?

If folks want to say they hate the NRA for their stance on guns, that's cool.

But, when you try and say that what bothers you is their inflexibility on the one issue they were founded to defend, I don't believe you.

If it's really the inflexibility that bothers you -- or their "ownership" of politicians -- prove it. Show me what other group's inflexibility bothers you, and it would really be AMAZING if you could point to a group you generally agree with.

I brought abortion because most of you who pretend to be offended by the NRA's refusal to join in "common sense" gun reform support abortion rights. The abortion rights groups act in the very same way the NRA acts.

    Are any of you offended?

Who's squirming? Abortion was around for thousands of years before Sanger.

Abortions have likely saved countless numbers from working unpaid overtime.
