LOL. I think I tried that with you vis-à-vis Muslims and mental illness, didn't I?

Whether it's Muslim terrorists and non-Muslims, a guy like Dylan Roof and African-Americans, or this dude with women, it's a hatred, and it has to do with blaming someone "other" for your problems, your own failings.

Mental illness can contribute to these feelings and this rage, so apparently can Koranic Islam.

Good question. Better question: How can someone be OK with abortion but wring their hands over the death penalty? I suppose you could say some of the people executed are innocent. Well, 100 percent of the babies aborted are.

You can be against abortion and for the death penalty. You just aren't pro-life.

Because we don't consider them to be babies. We consider them to be fetuses. When everyone dies, they have their birthdate and their death dates on their tombstones, not their conception date.

And BTW, I am also in favor of the death penalty for blatant cases, such as if they're caught on video.

Well, I'm not in favor of the death penalty, in general. So now you can answer my question, unless you want to let Baron and his callousness speak for you.

I have conflicted feelings about abortion. I think the state should not be in the business of killing prisoners.

I'm glad you're not conflicted about the prisoners.

I don't think fetuses are human lives and I think we should kick up our use of the death penalty by a factor of about 100.

This is about where I've landed.

As to your first question, you're not wrong. The Catholic Church for example is both pro-life on abortion and anti-death penalty. It is the consistent pro-life position.

Though, the question of guilt vs. innocence does allow for some flexibility on the issue for those who want to argue for the pro-life/pro-death penalty position.

So you're for abortion up until birth?
