I would diverge with Creosote here -- I think the reporters probably didn't see the report but got the rundown of it from their sources.

Seriously, if that stuff isn't in an incident report or is not part of the investigation, the refutation would be swift and absolute.

 

I have no doubt that the information is accurate, as far as it goes.

But I don't understand how it differs from the information about the woman at the bar. We don't know that Kane put the marks there. If he did, we don't know how. It's all speculative, no less so than the identity of the mysterious SkyBar suitor.

 

No one is saying or even hinting that those injuries, in and of themselves, are irrefutable evidence of a rape.
