I have red hair and a few freckles. Therefore my kike ass is now black too!

I'm startled at how different he looks in the various childhood photos I've seen. In the two pics I've seen alleging to be him from his pre-adolescent childhood years he very clearly looks like a typical white kid. But in the two pics I've seen alleging to be the high school him he clearly looks biracial. And one unfamiliar with the story would never imagine the two sets of pics being of the same kid. I realize appearances can change during adolescence but ...goddamn ...that much?

I honestly don't know what to make of this story, every time my opinion leans one way something pops up to make me wonder if it should be leaning the other. The whole story is just weird.

But the kind of proof you'd like to see would be the result of valid journalism. It's a weird story easily verifiable with a little elbow grease.

LOL, again biracial is a term that before Obama was never applied to black people by white people. In the black community, there were distinctions, e.g. "high yella", "red", "good hair" etc. But to white people, it did not matter, a negro was a negro (I'm 61 years old). Biracial was a term that came into use in America relatively recently to describe children of white and Asian parentage.

Race is a relatively recent phony biological construction to justify slavery in America.

Alexander Dumas was not black, he was the brown skinned, curly headed Frenchman that had a Haitian ancestor who wrote entertaining literary soap operas.

Hope this is not crossing over into politics. The whole black lives matter is BS. Yes black people get the worst of everything. But that is not what is happening with all these police killings. The real focus is that the majority of police are not heros they are cowards. A self sustaining network of bullies is what we are dealing with. The honest ones either quit or are pressured into silence.

The police/prison/attorney complex is hugely profitable. That is because it is feudal.

The solution is management that is effective rather than political. If I can complain to the local Subway manager and have my complaint acknowledged, why should I not do the same with my local police watch commander?

(this is tots off topic, but I thought I would save it here for future reference, lol)

Just recently? And to describe white and Asian parentage? Sorry, but I've been hearing that term for 30 years having grown up in the melting pot of L.A.

Biracial meant, first and foremost, a black and white swirl. Asians? I don't think so.

As for the importance of #blacklivesmatter in this case, well, I'd want to scream from the rooftops with irrefutable proof that I am who I am (thanks, Popeye) and not what nefarious assholes ascribe me to the public.

This bizarro tale has turned into a modern literary soap opera. Cue the long-lost black dude(s) who trot themselves out from the woodworks and declare they're Shaun's dad.

Not *that* will be good popcorn material.

I think this is just the tip of the iceberg.

I think the guy is a fraud in more ways than one. He's only ever received fawning press from the mainstream and left leaning media.

They've championed his struggle, and praised his charitable efforts. In nearly every article about the guy he tells his tale of the vicious racial beating he received in high school.

I think he has to fight back against this because he can't stand up to further scrutiny. He has to brand his critics as racists and partisans looking to take him down, and to discredit the Black Lives Matters Movement.

He raised a lot of money for various charitable causes in the last several years. If there's a real scandal here, it's going to be in how he handled the money.

Stay tuned. Let's see if anyone considered credible/mainstream takes a serious look at this guy. So far, everything we know about his fund raising, and how he's spent the money comes from him.

I don't think this story is all that weird.

High profile activist is attacked based on, at best, sloppy reporting and all that's really been pointed out is that people makes lots of assumptions based on certain things and activists, who become high profile, aren't vetted like, say, presidential candidates.

So if you have a person who says they're black or bi-racial, has the appearance of someone bi-racial and they're married to a black or bi-racial person and they attended a HBCU and have a personal story that has the common themes of other black or bi-racial people, then thinking that person is, at a minimum, bi-racial isn't especially out of the ordinary.

But now, none of that matters.

His crying mom could have a presser, identify the person she had an affair with four decades ago with as ol' so and so, who, probably, will be dead but if he's alive and if he's also bi-racial and has a familial resemblance with Shaun King, the people who think he's a lying liar will still not believe the mom or the person who is claiming to be the dad.

Because, Obama, or Clinton's dick, or dude will have been shown by then to have his hand in the cash jar or something else, anything else.
