I'll take things said in 2009 for $1,000, Alex.

Yep. I admit I'm jealous of the 300-pound virgin with chicken meat in his beard and cheese sauce on his Polamalu jersey.

Change the name on the jersey and every team in the NFL has fans like that, yet you save your venom for one team and its fans. It's okay to admit the source of your feelings. We're here to help you talk these things out. :)

Just in case Vick gets signed I'll get ahead of the curve on this:

"I gawt a cousin whose brudder in laws neighbor is a Picksburgh city cawp and one night eeee wuz dahn Schenley Park an' he cawt Michael Vick dahn nere havin' sex witta' dawg 'n at. Oh yeah, an' eees uh fag I heard."

Unleash the hounds, preferably with every opportunity to take a chunk out of Vick's sorry ass.

This is just more evidence that the Steelers are right there with every other team in the NFL. They talk a good game, but character comes a distant second after winning on the priority list. Even with Gradkowski possibly missing the entire season, this was a mistake.

No, they're worse. They're the Josh Duggar of the NFL.

Nah, just that they are the NFL's biggest hypocrites (as Magary so deftly pointed out).

We already talked about this. You're not going to make any progress until you admit to the source of your feelings. Go on. Admit your hate. Let it go. :)

Seriously, every team in the NFL claims to care about character, but places it well behind winning on the priority list. The hypocrisy runs through the entire league. Some people were simply stupid enough to buy it when it came from the Steelers. I've never been one of them.

They kept Harrison after he attacked his girlfriend. They kept Roethlisberger after after his arrest, which was far from the only time he has screwed up. Both decisions were at least as revealing of the Steelers' commitment to character as the Vick signing, so this isn't telling me anything I didn't already know.

    Hide your dogs, Pittsburgh residents.

Mike Tomlin ought to be ashamed. He's not, but he should be. This is one team I hope falls apart quickly.

If Vick sees any significant playing time, you'll get your wish.

Falcons fans I know are wringing their hands over this, but if it gets to the point where Grossman has to play, their season is over anyway.
