    Because they like them?
    Really?
I like jerking off. Should I be able to do it in the middle of the sidewalk on a balmy Tuesday afternoon in the spring?

And your proof is that there are no more illegal drugs in society.

No. The problem is access. They still have access.

I don't think anyone is advocating that they should be able to shoot off their Bushmaster in the middle of the sidewalk on a balmy Tuesday afternoon in the spring.

But what if that's what they like? I mean, if that's the measure by which we're going to run our country why have any laws whatsoever?

I tend to keep my Bushmaster under wraps on balmy Tuesday afternoons ...

Totally comparable. I can't believe it's been two years already since that great marijuana mass murder in Utah where 37 people lost their lives because a guy smoked a little weed.

Do you really want to go down a road where we ban anything people can use irresponsibly?

You don't understand how gun restrictions would encroach on their freedom. That's dismissive of the fact that some people like guns.

Should you be banned from doing it?

No, I totally understand it. I've been to a firing range. It's cool. Awesome. Whatever. Liking something isn't a reason to prohibit laws that curtail the rights of people to engage in a behavior.
Jared Fogel liked child porn. He's going to jail because of it. Is the judge being dismissive of the fact that some people like child porn when he sentences Jared?
