I see. Both races have always treated the other race equally. Yep.

    As usual, you ignore history.

The Charleston shooter was motivated by racial hatred because he believed his race was superior to the other race.

The Virginia shooter was motivated by racial hatred because he believed others were putting him down because of his race.

You don't see that one was motivated by a superiority complex, and the other motivated by an inferiority complex?

You don't see that one was a flaming nutjob ... and so was the other?

You just don't understand nuance like Baron does.

They both were, for motivations that were very similar. And, even though Sunshine sarcastically noted it, there is nuance in there.

Yeah, let's ignore the fact that Dylann Roof was photographed numerous times displaying racist symbols and shot up a black church. We don't know what the Houston shooter's motivation was.

    Congratulations, that's quite a feat.[/QUOTE]

    Have to agree.

They are both reminders of the racial animosity and distrust that persists in this country.

Supporter or not, everyone knows Obama will never blame race in certain situations. He's not allowed to.

Now Roof's racist bonafides are well-established, but Flanagan was never going to target anyone who wasn't white. He was driven by a longstanding hatred of white people (he worked with).

There's really not. They could just as easily as said they were following orders from the First Prince of Watloo. Whack-jobs gonna whack ...

No doubt. But Roof was so blatantly racist and killed 8(?) black people. Baron does have a point that the black shooters are coming from a place of felling inferior. There is a difference.
