Roof killed them because they were black. There is no evidence that Flanagan shot his former colleagues because they were white.

Fair point, but he did not shoot them because they were white. He shot them because he felt slighted. And he apparently was paranoid about a great many things.

 

If they weren't white, he wouldn't have shot them.

Didn't the video guy record a tirade the shooter did at the workplace? That might have something to do with it.
